Resonating Quotes

Recently, I have started to read books again. I had stopped for quite a long while-- about three months-- as my mind and life was cluttered with other details.

It was at the tail end of my interlude that I saw an interview of NY Times journalist Andrew Ross Sorkin in which he discussed his recently published book "Too Big to Fail: The Inside Story of How Wall Street and Washington Fought to Save the Financial System---and Themselves." Having a finance background and a genuine interest in investing, as well as the events that have shaped our nation during the past year, I immediately went on-line and added my name to the wait list at my local library.

While devouring the 500-page plus book, which unveils what has to be one of the most incredible and griping non-fiction stories ever told, I quickly remembered just how much I was missing in my life by not reading on a regular basis.

One week and a hefty novel later, I picked up "Have a Little Faith" by Mitch Albom. One day later, while racing toward the back cover, I quickly encountered many quotes and stories that resonated with me. I made sure to earmark the relevant pages that disclosed those that most struck me. Upon completion of the beautifully composed true story, I came to a realization.

Be a reader many sources, I stumble across an array of fantastic quotes on a weekly, if not daily, basis--
ones that, I believe, inspire me to be the man that I know I am and/or to become the man that I want to be. So it dawned on me that I should share these same quotes with the world so that they might have a positive impact on others' lives as well.

Therefore, I have created the blog: www.resonatingquotes.com, where I intend to post, on a daily basis, quotes that I have come across, which have touched my soul.

I hope that they will resonate with you as they have with me. Enjoy!
